How does delivery and setup work?
Fireside RV Rentals handles 100% of delivery and setup for you. We bring the RV to your chosen location—whether that’s a campground, private property, or event venue throughout the West Palm Beach service area—and handle all the hookups and preparation. You’ll never need to tow or drive the RV yourself. A delivery fee applies based on your distance from our West Palm Beach base.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a flexible cancellation policy: if you cancel 14 or more days before your delivery date, you receive a full refund. If you cancel 7–13 days before delivery, you’ll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of delivery are non-refundable. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak season (November–April).
Do I need a special license to rent an RV?
For most of our Class B and Class C motorhomes and travel trailers, a standard driver’s license is sufficient. However, some Class A motorhomes and larger units may require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) depending on the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). We’ll confirm licensing requirements when you book, so you’ll know in advance if a CDL is needed.
Can I take an RV out of Florida or travel out of state?
Yes, out-of-state travel is permitted with Fireside RV Rentals. We recommend discussing your travel plans and destination at booking so we can ensure your rental is properly insured and equipped for your route. Some restrictions or additional fees may apply depending on how far you’re traveling.
How do I choose the right size RV for my group?
We offer five RV types—Class A Motorhomes, Class B Motorhomes, Class C Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels, and Travel Trailers—in various sizes to accommodate different group sizes and needs. Class A motorhomes offer the most space and amenities, while Class B and C are more compact and maneuverable. Our team can recommend the best option based on your group size, budget, and travel style. Check our RV Rental Guide for detailed comparisons.
Are pets allowed in rental RVs?
Yes, we offer pet-friendly RV rentals. A pet fee applies and must be disclosed at the time of booking. Please let us know the number and type of pets you’ll be traveling with so we can ensure your rental is set up appropriately and apply the correct fee.
Can I use the generator during my rental?
Generator use is permitted during standard hours, typically 7am–10pm. Quiet hours after 10pm protect our neighbors and follow standard campground etiquette. You are responsible for supplying and paying for generator fuel. Most campgrounds in the area include hookups that reduce the need for generator use.
What comes included in my RV rental?
Every rental includes a fully equipped RV with a complete kitchen, linens and bedding, an awning for outdoor shade, and all utility hookups ready to connect. The RV is delivered to your location with full setup included. All you need to bring are personal items and groceries—everything else is ready to go.
How far in advance should I book an RV rental?
We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (November–April) when demand is highest. Last-minute bookings may be available depending on fleet availability. The earlier you book, the better your choice of RV type and delivery dates. Contact us or visit our RV Rentals page to check availability and reserve your rental.
What is the minimum age to rent an RV?
Renters must be at least 25 years old to book an RV with Fireside RV Rentals. A valid driver’s license is required at check-in. Additional insurance or fees may apply for drivers under 30.
What happens if my RV is damaged during the rental?
A refundable security deposit is held at booking to cover any damage. We offer an optional damage protection plan that reduces your financial liability for accidental damage. The plan covers most wear and tear, but intentional damage and excessive neglect may result in additional charges. We’ll inspect the RV before and after your rental and discuss any issues with you directly.
Can I extend my rental if I want to stay longer?
Extensions are subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours before your original return date. Contact our team as soon as you know you’d like to extend, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Extended stays may also qualify for weekly or monthly discounts, so ask about pricing.
What should I expect for cleaning responsibilities?
The RV must be returned in the same clean condition it was delivered in. This includes emptying tanks, removing trash, and general interior tidiness. If the unit is returned in an unacceptable condition, a cleaning fee will be applied to your account. We provide basic cleaning supplies and instructions at delivery.
Are there long-term rental options available?
Yes, Fireside RV Rentals offers monthly and extended-stay rentals with special discount pricing. Long-term rentals are ideal for seasonal visitors, winter escapes, or anyone wanting to explore West Palm Beach and the Palm Beaches at a relaxed pace.
